Having studied womenswear design and becoming a fashion stylist, Gurdit was stuck between two worlds, fashion and culture. Being a Sikh male you're held to certain expectations in the way you present yourself and this never sat comfortably with him. Gurdits styling comes out of rebellion for a stereotype that is intended to be overly masculine and conformist. Whether he's playing with femininity or introducing new silhouettes, you can always expect his styling to have a rigid playfulness.
